By Aaron Humes: Police have arrested and charged 33-year-old Jonny Salguero with sexual assault following a report by his ex-common-law wife of an incident early on Tuesday morning.
The complainant told police that she was at home sleeping along with her daughter-in-law when the sound of dogs barking woke her. She got up and on opening the door she saw a man who she recognized as Salguero standing behind the door.
She alleges that Salguero entered the house, removed her towel, forced her legs open and began touching her vaginal area and smelling the scent. Her scream awoke her daughter-in-law, who turned the lights on. Salguero walked out, then tried to come back inside, only for the women to push him back out.
Salguero was picked up and charged following a statement from the complainant.
