By Zoila Palma: Residents of San Narciso Village, Corozal, welcomed their first-ever community market on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
The new facility features 18 stalls for local farmers and entrepreneurs, providing an accessible and organized space to sell fresh produce, plants, and other goods directly to the community.
Made possible through the efforts of the Belize Tourism Board, under the leadership of the Minister of Tourism, Youth, Sports, and Diaspora Relations Anthony Mahler, and with support from the Corozal South West Representative and Minister of State for Sustainable Development, Climate Change, and Solid Waste Management, Ramiro Ramirez, the market is set to enhance economic sustainability and boost local livelihoods.
