By Zoila Palma: Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred on April 25, 2026 on the Thomas Vincent Ramos Highway.
ASP Stacy Smith says that around 6:30 pm on Saturday, police responded to the reports of an accident near miles 24 and 25 on the Thomas Vincent Ramos Highway.
There, police saw Arnoldo Suchite of San Juan Village and a damaged motorcycle.
A bus from the National Bus company also had damage to the left side.
“What we have uncovered so far in the course of the investigation is that the motorcycle and the bus were traveling in opposite directions, and it is alleged that the motorcycle, which Suchite was driving, veered into the lane of the bus, causing the collision. A notice of intended prosecution has been served on the bus driver of the bus, I believe a sample has also been taken from him. As it relates to the deceased male person, a toxicology report will provide clarity as to that,” Smith said.
