By Rubén Morales Iglesias: San José Succotz’s IRKA captured third place in Under 15 Cayo Football Association 2023 Youth Tournament on Saturday at the Norman Broaster Stadium in San Ignacio.

IRKA won 5-4 over Billy White in a penalty kicks shootout after a 1-1 regulation game. Billy White’s Emil Manzanero opened the score in the 25^th minute but IRKA levelled the match one minute later on a strike by Edward Castellanos, the tournament’s top goalscorer.

The U15 final featuring San Ignacio’s West Line and Benque Viejo del Carmen Z Boys is being played on Saturday afternoon.

The Under 13 final between San Ignacio’s Wateva Boys and Benque Viejo del Carmen Z Boys is also being played on Saturday afternoon.

Entrance is $3.00 and for children $1.00.
