By Rubén Morales Iglesias: San Estevan Youngsters and Progresso FC Amateur emerged triumphant from the hotly contested semifinals of the Orange Walk Football Association’s (FA) New 15 Championship and will clash in the highly anticipated final.
The San Estevan Youngsters recorded a resounding 5-0 victory over Trinidad FC. The Youngsters displayed a powerful offensive performance, leaving Trinidad FC reeling.
In the other semi-final match, Progresso FC secured their spot in the finals, blanking Atletico Belize 4-0.
The upcoming final between San Estevan Youngsters and Progresso FC promises to be a captivating clash, with both teams eager to claim the New 15 Championship title. Their previous encounter on December 1, 2024, ended in an evenly-matched 1-1 score.
Meanwhile, Trinidad FC will tackle Atletico Belize in the clash for third place. Trinidad won 2-1 when they clashed on December 1.
