By Zoila Palma: Sacred Heart Junior College (SHJC) took an important step to strengthen connections with its former students by hosting the first introductory meeting aimed at revitalizing the SHJC Alumni Association.
The meeting, held on Friday, brought together alumni eager to contribute to the college’s growth and community engagement.
Dean Fermin Magana welcomed attendees with enthusiasm, emphasizing the importance of alumni collaboration in supporting the institution’s mission.
Alumni in attendance shared their pride in being part of the SHJC family and expressed interest in participating in initiatives that celebrate the college’s achievements.
Dr. Berta Cambranes, President of Sacred Heart Inc., also addressed the gathering, encouraging alumni to take active roles in organizing events and initiatives that highlight SHJC’s impact on education and the community.
The meeting marks the beginning of renewed efforts to engage alumni and strengthen ties between past and present members of the SHJC community.
