Roberto Mancini apologised after he walked off before the end of Saudi Arabia’s Asia Cup match against South Korea. Saudi had been 1-0 up earlier in the game but South Korea equalised with a 99th-minute header and the game went to penalties. Before Hwang Hee-chan had taken the final penalty, however, Mancini started walking down the tunnel. South Korea progressed into the quarter-finals with a 4-2 win. Mancini apologised, insisting he thought the game was over.
