By Breaking Belize News Staff: Robert Emmanuel Arnold, 21, of Antelope Street, Belize City, has been charged with a second murder in less than a month. Arnold was remanded to Belize Central Prison for the June 3, 2024, murder of Cruz Magana, a resident of Burrell Boom Village.
Arnold appeared in Court #5 on Thursday, unrepresented, and was read charges of murder and robbery. Allegations state that on June 3, 2024, Arnold, armed with a firearm, stole a Samsung A21 phone and $2,500 in cash from Lorena Elizabeth Magana before shooting Cruz Magana.
Arnold was previously charged on June 25, 2024, for the March 22, 2024, murder of Rudolph Lewis on Elston Kerr Street, Belize City, alongside Travis Jamaal Herbert. Both are due back in court on August 5, 2024.
Arnold’s next court date for Magana’s murder is set for September 19, 2024.
