By Aaron Humes: Earlier this evening, a Recinos’ Imports Limited delivery truck was robbed along the Hummingbird Highway, resulting in the deaths of its driver and side man.
Responding police investigated and discovered that both the driver and sideman were missing from the truck. First, the driver, identified as 28-year-old Raynard Garbutt Jr., then the sideman, Alexander Crawford, were found dead in a nearby area, marking the incident as a violent robbery.
Police are actively processing the scene and collecting evidence to determine the circumstances surrounding the robbery and the subsequent murders.
Police are urging anyone with information related to this incident to come forward as they work to piece together tonight’s events.
