The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing hereby reminds the public of construction work being carried out for the expansion and rehabilitation of a portion of the Philip Goldson Highway from Mile 8 to Mile 24.5.
The public is informed that a portion of the road from Mile 22 to Mile 24 will be closed to all traffic. Motorists are advised to use the diversion. A detour adjacent to the road has been opened and will remain open until further notice. Detour signs are in place, and drivers are urged to adhere to caution signs, reduce speed when approaching the area, and always follow the instructions of the flag-personnel to ensure safety.
The Ministry thanks the general public for their kind cooperation. Please stay alert and be safe.
