By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On October 21, 2024, RET International, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Wellness, successfully completed a countrywide training program.
Participants included 143 social workers, nurses, doctors, and other essential personnel from public healthcare facilities.
As part of RET International’s ongoing CARSI-funded grant, this training aims to strengthen the clinical management capacity of healthcare workers in response to human trafficking, ensuring they are better equipped to support those in need.
“Thank you to everyone involved for your dedication to this important cause! Together, we can make a difference,” the U.S. Embassy noted.
