By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Micah Contreras, a cheerful and beloved second-form student at Sacred Heart College in San Ignacio, Cayo, tragically lost his life last night in a fatal accident in Unitedville, Cayo.
This morning, SHC students gathered in front of Micah’s 2B classroom on campus, lighting candles in his memory.
The Sacred Heart College community is heartbroken by the loss of their classmate and friend.
In light of this tragedy, the school has canceled its Sports Day, as both students and faculty come together to mourn the loss of one of their own.
Micah will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
