By Zoila Palma: Members of the Management Committee of the Cooperativa De Los Buenos Amigos Co-operative Society Limited gathered on Thursday for an important update on the implementation of the Resilient Rural Belize (RRB) Project, under the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise.
The meeting focused on key components of the Matching Grant Fund Agreement (MGFA), particularly the development of drainage, irrigation, and fertigation systems to support MD2 pineapple production within the community.
Facilitated by the RRB Technical Coordinator, the session aimed to assess progress and align efforts with the co-operative’s production goals, ensuring long-term sustainability and improved yields for participating farmers.
