By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Home Affairs informed that improvements have been made at the Caledonia Police Sub-Station in the Corozal District as part of ongoing efforts to enhance officer welfare and improve working conditions.
The renovation works included:
Full interior and exterior painting of the building
Repairs to damaged windows
Cleaning of the surrounding area
Roof repairs to address long-standing issues
Minister of Home Affairs Kareem Musa, CEO Sharole Carr and ranking officers of the police department visited the Sub-Station in Corozal District while addressing welfare concerns of the officers.
These upgrades are part of the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening law enforcement infrastructure in rural communities and ensuring that officers have a safe and functional environment in which to serve.
