The Belize Government Lotteries Ltd. hereby advises the public that effective Sunday, April 27, 2025, the LIVE drawing of the Belize government lottery games, including Boledo, Ordinary Lottery, and Jackpot Lottery, will be relocated to the City of Belmopan.
The administrative office and all staff of the Belize Government Lotteries Ltd. are located in Belmopan. As a result, the relocation is being carried out to increase efficiency as well as to reduce the risk for the suspension of any future drawings due to the vulnerability of hurricanes and flooding in Belize City.
Belize Government Lotteries Ltd. assures the public that all protocols will continue as per usual.
These protocols include:
– Weighing of balls before and after each drawing
– Witnessing of ball weighing by an auditor from the auditing firm of Coye & Associates, as well as an officer from the Treasury Department or other Senior Public Service Officer, to ensure that the weights are within the acceptable weight range as per international guidelines
– Conducting of drawings by supervisory personnel from the Treasury Department or other Senior Public Service Officers.
– Witnessing of drawing by an auditor representing the auditing firm of Coye & Associates
– Live broadcast by Love FM
The new drawing office will be located inside the Emporium Plaza located at Cor. Rio Grande & Nim Li Punit Street, Belmopan City. Belize Government Lotteries Ltd. further reminds the general public that anyone wishing to attend and witness the live public drawings are always welcome to do so.
