By Aaron Humes: Police in Red Bank Village have arrested 27-year-old Jason Alexander Leal Miguel, a construction worker, and charged him with three counts of unlawful sexual intercourse following serious allegations involving a minor.
The arrest took place on Monday, April 6, after police obtained a warrant based on a report filed by an 18-year-old woman from nearby Santa Cruz Village. The allegations date back to a period between 2021 and 2022, when the young woman was between 14 and 15 years old and was in a previous relationship with Miguel. In addition to the charges of unlawful sexual intercourse, the report includes claims that explicit content recorded during their relationship has recently circulated on social media without her consent.
The police investigation is ongoing, and they are urging anyone with additional information related to the case to come forward.
