Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé has suffered a muscle injury, casting doubt over the forward’s participation in the weekend derby against Atlético Madrid.
Mbappe, has been in fine form for Real following his blockbuster summer from Paris Saint-Germain, scoring seven goals in nine matches across all competitions. The 25-year-old was substituted in the 80th minute of the 3-2 win against Deportivo Alavés at the Bernabéu on Tuesday and gestured to his thigh while leaving the pitch.
