Napoles FC and Corozal Elite both secured three points in their opening matches in Belmopan, while reigning champions Sagitun Girlz FC await their first appearance following a rain-postponed fixture.
Napoles FC Dominates in Belmopan
On Saturday, September 13, Napoles FC delivered a commanding 4–0 win over Jewel Fury FC at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium. The Belmopan side displayed attacking flair and defensive discipline, earning the top spot in the standings with a +4 goal difference.
Corozal Elite Edge Jaguar Girls in Tight Contest
Sunday’s action at the FFB Stadium saw Corozal Elite edge past Jaguar Girls FC 2–1 in a competitive matchup. The northern squad showed resilience and tactical sharpness, joining Napoles atop the table with three points.
Postponed Match: Sagitun Girlz vs Cayo Dreamers
Heavy rainfall forced the postponement of the highly anticipated clash between defending champions Sagitun Girlz FC and Cayo Dreamers FC on Saturday at the Michael Ashcroft Stadium in Independence. The match, originally scheduled for Week 1, is expected to be played next week, pending weather conditions and venue availability.
Week 2 promises more action as teams look to build momentum and the champions prepare to enter the fray.
