By Zoila Palma: The People’s United Party (PUP) has reportedly ramped up supporters in front of the National Assembly as the Government convenes for the Sitting of the House of Representatives.
The Commissioner of Police (COMPOL) confirmed to the media that the PUP did apply for a permit to assemble today in front of the National Assembly.
Meanwhile, the UDP parliamentary caucus is boycotting today’s Sitting of the House of Representatives in protest of BTL’s proposed acquisition of SMART.
