By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police have charged Owen William Cadle, 49-year-old shop owner of Punta Gorda with 2 counts of rape of a child and 2 counts of sexual assault.
Reports indicate that during October 2024, a 12-year-old minor visited a shop and while inside, the shop owner allegedly grabbed her and touched her inappropriately. After that, he gave her $20.
Then in November 2025, the minor says that the same man forced her to perform oral sex on him, giving her $20.00 again.
Cadle was formally arrested and charged on March 5, 2026.
