Puma Gas Station robbed on Phillip Goldson Highway

By Aaron Humes: A brazen robbery occurred at the Puma gas station located at 2 miles on the Phillip Goldson Highway in Belize City on Wednesday, November 5.

According to police reports, five masked men, three of whom were armed with firearms, ambushed the security guard at around 2:30 a.m.

The suspects overpowered the guard, forcing him to the back of the building while four of them entered the premises through a broken window. The thieves made off with a black metal vault containing an undisclosed amount of cash and a Samsung Galaxy A13 phone belonging to the security guard.

The Crimes Investigation Branch (CIB) responded, and an investigation is ongoing. No suspects have been detained in connection with the robbery.
