Public Service Union and Women’s Committee condemn actions of Immigration officer

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, the Public Service Union (PSU) and its Women’s Committee issued a statement condemning the actions of Immigration Officer Saul Enrique Lisbey.

“The PSU and its Women’s Committee will not condone nor support any forms of violence against any person!

Public Officers are reminded that they are to always maintain professionalism and adhere to the Rules and Regulations of the Public Service and to the Laws of the Land,” the PSU said.

The PSU encouraged all public officers to seek peaceful resolutions to conflicts and to utilize the resources available to address any concerns or grievances in a constructive manner.

“Our zero-tolerance policy towards workplace violence underscores our unwavering commitment to promoting a safe, supportive, and harmonious work environment for all,” the PSU reiterated.
