By Aaron Humes: The Cabinet has approved the repeal and replacement of the Public Health Act, Chapter 40 of the Substantive Laws of Belize by the Attorney General’s Ministry in consultation with the Ministry of Health and Wellness.
The purpose of this exercise per the Executive is to bring greater effectiveness to the scope and substance of the legislation to reflect the changing nature of society and emerging and re-emerging risks to public health.
