Princess Cinema blames ‘wrong file’ download for Sinners screening; offers free re-screening

Posted: Friday, May 2, 2025. 3:42 pm CST.

By Aaron Humes: Ramada Princess Cinema says it has determined that a mixup in its files caused it to screen the wrong version of the film “Sinners” last week.

With an “overwhelming number of requests” to see the film, Princess obtained a license at the last minute but it’s file of the film was in the wrong definition and appeared pirated. It was not able to replace the film before the screening.

The Cinema apologizes and plans to re-screen the film for ticket holders who attended the Sunday screening providing they hold on to their ticket stubs. For further information contact 614-6809 or email salesexec1@kaxxfemgroup.com.

The company reiterated that it does not “tolerate, support or engage in any activities that infringe upon intellectual property rights or violate copyright laws.”
