By Aaron Humes: As he begins a second term as Prime Minister and eighth in the National Assembly, Prime Minister John Briceño reminded that the power of the Government is only temporary and “held in trust” for the Belizean people. Sixty-six percent of those who voted eight weeks ago, voted to continue his administration into a second term.
Now the emphasis is on continuing the advances made under #planbelize, including the reduction of national debt and unemployment, freeing of income tax for more workers, rolling out National Health Insurance and other “ambitious goals.”
