By Zoila Palma: Prime Minister John Briceño reaffirmed Belize’s commitment to free and fair elections during a meeting today with the Organization of American States (OAS) observer team ahead of the 2025 general elections.
“Our central feature of the Belize peaceful constructive revolution is free and fair elections. This year’s general elections will be observed by the OAS.
Today, I met with the Organization of American States observer team,” PM Briceno said.
The meeting underscores Belize’s dedication to ensuring a transparent and democratic electoral process, with the OAS playing a key role in monitoring the elections and providing an impartial assessment.
