By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On May 6, 2024, Prime Minister John Briceño and Mexican Foreign Minister Alicia Bárcena led the signing of the Constitutive Agreement of the Latin American and Caribbean Space Agency.

Belize becomes the 21st country to join this important space of Latin American and Caribbean cooperation, born of CELAC, and that will have broad benefits for the populations of our region.

The Constitutive Agreement of @AgenciaAlce was created with the objective of coordinating cooperation activities for the exploration and research of space technology and its applications in Latin America and the Caribbean.
