By Zoila Palma: On June 3, 2026, Prime Minister John Briceno met with the National Trade Union Congress of Belize (NTUCB).
“It’s more than a meeting… it’s a dialogue with partners. Today, I chaired our dialogue with the Unions. The full NTUCB Executive sat with me, the Hon Cordel Hyde – Deputy PM, Hon Ministers Kareem Musa and Hon. Henry Charles Usher.
We discussed several issues of national importance and others that directly impact workers tabled by the Unions and being addressed by the GOB,” the PM said.
The PM says that the Government will proceed with their partnership dialogue sessions twice per year.
