By Breaking Belize News Staff: Prime Minister John Briceño will travel to Japan from August 2 to 5, 2025, as an official guest of the Government of Japan. His visit coincides with Belize’s participation in the National Day Event at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Kansai.
While in Japan, Prime Minister Briceño will meet with Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru for a summit and will be honored at a luncheon hosted by his counterpart. The discussions are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral relations, promoting trade and investment, and expanding cooperation in areas such as education, tourism, and technology.
The Government of Belize has expressed confidence that this engagement will deepen ties with Japan and enhance Belize’s visibility in the Asia-Pacific region.
