Discussions included areas of cooperation and reaffirmed the strong and enduring relationship between Belize and the United States.
The meeting highlighted the shared commitment to strengthening bilateral relations through enhanced collaboration in economic development, security, and regional stability.
Prime Minister Briceño welcomed the continued progress on the Millennium Challenge Corporation Compact (MCC), recognizing its potential to support Belize’s development priorities in education and energy security.
In addition, they discussed expanding cooperation to combat transnational organized crime and narco-trafficking, addressing irregular migration through coordinated regional efforts, and deepening trade and commercial relations to create greater opportunities for investment and prosperity.
Prime Minister Briceño expressed appreciation for the enduring relationship between Belize and the United States and reaffirmed Belize’s commitment to working closely with the U.S. Government to address shared challenges while advancing the prosperity of both countries.
