By Zoila Palma: The Taiwan Embassy in Belize recently welcomed Dr. Shu-Fang Ou, Chairperson of Universal Vision Biotechnology, and newly elected President of the Belize Taiwan Chamber of Commerce along with executives of the Chamber and Taiwanese business representatives from Belize, the United States, and Taiwan, for a courtesy call with Ambassador Amino Chi and Embassy colleagues.
Ambassador Chi introduced Belize’s investment environment, and they exchanged views on future investment opportunities, business collaboration, and ways to further strengthen Taiwan–Belize economic and commercial ties.
In addition, Ambassador Chi participated in a breakfast gathering with the delegation reaffirming their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation between Taiwanese businesses and Belize.
The Taiwan Embassy extended its congratulations to Dr. Shu-Fang Ou on her election as President of the Belize Taiwan Chamber of Commerce.
“We look forward to working closely with President Ou and the Chamber to bring fresh momentum to the Taiwanese business community in Belize, encourage greater Taiwanese investment in Belize, and further strengthen the longstanding friendship and partnership between Taiwan and Belize,” the embassy said.
