By Zoila Palma: The National Assembly of Belize will host a Special Joint Sitting of the House of Representatives and the Senate on Monday, 2nd February 2026, at 10:30 A.M., at the National Assembly Chamber, Independence Hill, Belmopan.
The session will feature a principal address by Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, delivered during the course of his state visit to Belize.
The Special Joint Sitting will also mark the official re-opening of the renovated National Assembly Building.
The proceedings of the Special Joint Sitting will be livestreamed on the National Assembly’s YouTube channel and broadcast through various media houses.
