Jewel Fury FC, playing their best football of the season, came from two goals down to earn a dramatic 2–2 draw against Napoles FC in the first leg of their PWLB 2025 Opening Championship semifinal at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan on Saturday, December 6.
Napoles looked in control early, with Khalydia Velasquez (12’) and Jayda Brown (51’) putting the top seed ahead 2–0. But Jewel Fury clawed back through a Stephanie Barrientos own goal (58’) and a late Ophelia Casimiro penalty (83’) to level the match.
The result leaves the tie wide open heading into the second leg, where Napoles will host Jewel Fury with a place in the final on the line.
