The third match of the 2025 Premier Women’s League of Belize (PWLB) between defending champions Sagitun GIRLZ FC and Cayo Dreamers FC was postponed on Saturday, September 13, leaving fans in Punta Gorda and Cayo waiting for the season’s first clash. Scheduled for the Michael Ashcroft Stadium in Independence, the match was set to feature the reigning titleholders against a determined Dreamers squad eager to challenge the elite.
The Football Federation of Belize, who run the tournament, have yet to confirm the rescheduled date. The postponement adds intrigue to the early standings, as the rest of the league moves ahead with match play.
