Jewel Fury enters the match looking to recover from a tough 4–0 defeat to Napoles FC in their season opener. Their defense struggled to contain Napoles striker Jayda Brown, who netted a second-half hat trick (36’, 50’, 57’) and proved to still be one of the league’s most dangerous finishers. Jewel Fury will need to tighten up at the back and find attacking rhythm to avoid falling further behind in the standings.
Sagitun GIRLZ, meanwhile, are set to make their long-awaited debut after last weekend’s fixture against Cayo Dreamers was postponed due to a soaked pitch at the Michael Ashcroft Stadium. They’ll be led by none other than Sabrina Eiley, their seasoned captain and the current leader of the Belize Women’s National Team. Eiley’s presence brings composure, tactical awareness, and national-level experience to the southern squad — a major asset in their first outing of the season.
With Jewel Fury seeking redemption and Sagitun GIRLZ eager to set the tone for their campaign under Eiley’s leadership, expect urgency from both sides as they chase their first points of the season.
