Jewel Fury FC dismantled Cayo Dreamers 11–0 on Saturday afternoon at Norman Broaster Stadium in San Ignacio to secure their second win of the season and leap into fourth place in the Premier Women’s League of Belize (PWLB) standings.
The Belmopan-based side overwhelmed the hosts from the opening whistle, capitalizing on defensive gaps and maintaining relentless pressure throughout the match. The result marks the highest-scoring game of the season so far and reflects Jewel Fury’s attacking potential as the league approaches its midpoint.
Cayo Dreamers, still searching for their first goal and point of the campaign, have now conceded 47 goals in five matches. Despite home support, the Dreamers struggled to contain Jewel Fury’s pace and movement, and will need to regroup quickly to avoid falling further adrift.
With the win, Jewel Fury climb to six points (2W–0D–3L), overtaking Jaguar Girls who drop to fifth with three points (1W–0D–4L). The reshuffle tightens the race for playoff positioning, as Napoles remain five points clear at the top and Sagitun GIRLZ and Corozal Elite battle for second.
