Premier Women’s League of Belize: Corozal Elite edge Jaguar Girls in 2–1 battle

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Corozal Elite FC secured a gritty 2–1 win over Jaguar Girls in their opening match of the 2025 Premier Women’s League of Belize (PWLB), played at the Football Federation of Belize Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The opening day match delivered early drama and a tightly contested battle.

Jaguar Girls struck first with a 6^th-minute goal from Jahxann Waight, but Corozal responded swiftly. Josefin Reyes equalized in the 16^th minute, and Kaite Jones delivered the winner in the 48^th, capping a determined comeback.
