By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Corozal Elite FC and Jaguar Girls played to a dramatic 2–2 draw on Saturday, October 18, in Corozal Town during Week 6 of the WeSTLine PWLB 2025 Opening Season.
Deborah Gordon opened the scoring for Jaguar Girls in the 5th minute, but Kaite Jones responded with a brace for Corozal Elite (6’, 45’). Kristel Tzul salvaged a point for Jaguar Girls with a stoppage-time equalizer in the 90+3 minute.
The match has been officially protested by Corozal Elite.
Corozal Elite remain third in the standings with 11 points, while Jaguar Girls move to four points, tied with Jewel Fury but trailing on goal difference. The protest outcome may yet affect the standings.
