By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Napoles FC welcome Progresso to the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan for a Week 10 fixture on Sunday, October 19 at 7:30 pm.
Progresso are currently third in the standings with 14 points from nine matches, while Napoles sit sixth with 10 points from nine matches each. Napoles trail fifth-place Belmopan FC, who have a better goal difference and have played two fewer matches.
Napoles have struggled to find consistency, alternating wins and losses over the past month. Progresso, meanwhile, are coming off a 1–0 win over Belmopan and aim to solidify their top-three position.
Napoles will rely on their top scorer Daijon Daniels to lead the line, hoping his finishing can unlock Progresso’s backline. Progresso, for their part, will look to in-form striker Latrell Middleton, who has been hot of late and instrumental in their recent surge.
The match could prove decisive in the race for playoff positioning. A win for either side would create separation from the mid-table pack and apply pressure on Port Layola and Wagiya.
