By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Port Layola continued their strong run in the Premier League of Belize 2025–2026 Opening Championship with a convincing 4–1 victory over Napoles FC on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the Marion Jones Sports Complex in Belize City.

The home side wasted no time asserting control, with Michael Palacio opening the scoring in the 4th minute. Brian Chavez doubled the lead in the 32nd, and Fernando Aguirre made it 3–0 just before halftime in the 44th minute.

Napoles responded after the break through Daijon Daniels, who pulled one back in the 59th minute. But Port Layola sealed the win with a fourth goal from Trimayne Harris in the 77th minute, capping off an overpowering performance that keeps them firmly in the title race.

The win lifts second-place Port Layola to 15 points from nine matches, while Napoles remain sixth of seven with 10 points and quite a bit of work to do in the final stretch of the Opening Championship.
