Napoles entered the match in fourth place and now climb to second with 10 points (3W, 1D, 1L) and a +6 goal differential. Their opponents, Benque Viejo United, remain at the bottom of the table with just 1 point (0W, 1D, 4L) and a -21 goal differential.
Instead, they were met with a storm. Napoles unleashed a first-half barrage, with goals from Kallai Cho, Krismar Martinez, and a brace from Daijon Daniels, who struck in the 38th and 45+1 minutes. The halftime scoreline read 4–0, and the second half only intensified the rout.
Kenyon Smith added a fifth in the 53rd minute, followed seconds later by Daniels completing his hat-trick. Johan Jaime capped the scoring in the 73rd minute, sealing one of the most dominant performances of the PLB season.
