By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belmopan FC return to the Isidoro Beaton Stadium for a Week 10 clash against Capital Sports Club (Benque Viejo United) on Saturday, October 18 at 7:30 pm.
While Belmopan FC and Capital Sports Club call the Isidoro Beaton home, this fixture is officially a Belmopan FC home game. The hosts sit fifth in the standings with 10 points from seven matches and a +5 goal difference. After a narrow loss to Progresso, they’ll be eager to bounce back and stay in playoff contention.
Capital Sports Club remain winless with just one point and a staggering -28 goal difference. Despite their struggles, they’ve shown flashes of promise and will be looking to disrupt Belmopan’s rhythm.
Belmopan’s midfield control and defensive discipline have been key to their campaign. They will look to convert early chances and maintain composure.
A win for Belmopan would keep them within striking distance of the top four, while Capital Sports Club are still searching for a breakthrough.
