By Zoila Palma: The family and friends of Pomona resident, Valenie Baide,26, and her son Michael Acosta Jr. is concerned about their whereabouts.
Baide and her 7-year-old son was last seen on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
During an interview with 7News Belize, Baide’s sister Marisa said that the family is deeply concerned since they had been calling Valenie due to the floods and got no response.
When they arrived at her home, they noticed that it had been ransacked and her phone was there.
The family is pleading to anyone with any information on the whereabouts of their loved ones to call Crime Stoppers at 922, use the P3 app, or report to the nearest police station.
