By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police in the Orange Walk District seized a quantity of suspected cannabis during a nighttime operation in the Nature Park area on Monday, December 15, 2025.
According to police, around 9:45 p.m., officers and members of the Quick Response Team (QRT) responded to information received and conducted checks in the area. During the operation, officers discovered one transparent plastic bag containing suspected cannabis.
No individuals were found at the scene at the time of the discovery. The substance was transported to the Orange Walk Police Station, where it was weighed and found to amount to 104.1 grams.
Police reported that the suspected cannabis was labeled and sealed as found property. Investigations are ongoing.
