By Breaking Belize News Staff: Four individuals have been arrested and charged following a house search conducted by police in Guinea Grass Village, Orange Walk District.
At approximately 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, officers carried out a search at the residence of Martha Lopez, a 43-year-old domestic of the village.
Present during the search were Lopez along with Deylyn Guerra, 20; Miguel Angel Guerra, 46; and Jaime Smith, 55.
Police reported that at the conclusion of the search they discovered a utensil used for smoking drugs. The item was described as a small plastic bag of “Badman” rum that had allegedly been modified for smoking crack cocaine.
As a result of the discovery, all four individuals were formally arrested and charged for the offense of possession of utensil used for smoking drugs.
The matter is expected to proceed before the court.
