By Aaron Humes: Punta Gorda labourer and ‘runman’ Aymon Flores was found dead on Friday morning, and so far, police are not sure how or why he was killed.
Just before 9 a.m., police responded to a report on the VOA Road in Punta Gorda Town. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of 29-year-old Flores with apparent gunshot injuries.
Officer in charge of National Crimes Investigation Branch, Assistant Commissioner Hilberto Romero, told reporters this afternoon, “Information is that Flores was seen in the town earlier that night, and thereafter, his body was discovered on the road. An investigation has been carried out. We have no suspects at this time.”
