By Aaron Humes: Police have issued a bulletin to be on the lookout for 16-year-old Darla Cruz, a student who has been reported missing after leaving her home on the evening of December 6. She is suspected of having run away by her mother, Emerita Pinkney, a 35-year-old cook residing on San Narciso Street, who told police that she left home at 9:00 p.m. en route to an unknown location, and since then she has not returned home.
Darla is described as having clear skin and a slim build, standing approximately 5 feet, 2 inches tall, with long, straight dark red hair. On the night she went missing, she was last seen wearing a short blue jeans jumper paired with a black blouse.
Police are urging anyone who may have seen Darla or who has information regarding her whereabouts to come forward. If she is seen, kindly detain and inform Orange Walk Police as soon as possible.
