By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police are looking into a reported violation of a child visitation order after two minors were allegedly returned late to their mother in San Pablo Village, Orange Walk.
The mother reported that the children were picked up on Saturday morning under a valid court-ordered visitation schedule. The agreement allows the father weekend access from Saturday evening to Sunday evening.
Instead, the children were reportedly returned on Monday at midday, outside of the agreed timeframe.
Police have since collected a copy of the court order and recorded a formal complaint.
The father is being sought for questioning in relation to the alleged breach. The matter remains under investigation.
