By Aaron Humes: Two police officers were injured in a single-vehicle accident on Kiskadee Street, Orange Walk Town, early this morning, Sunday.
PC Yasser Flores and PC Akeem Avilez, both attached to Trial Farm Police Substation, were conducting a mobile patrol in a maroon Ford Ranger pickup when it veered off the road and crashed into a drain.
Both officers were treated for injuries at the Northern Regional Hospital. The incident is under investigation by fellow police officers.
