By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating the shooting death of a 37-year-old Belize City man.
On Tuesday, October 21, about 10:45 p.m., police responded to a report at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH). Upon arrival, they observed Ricardo Arturo Escobar with gunshot injuries to his body.
Initial investigation revealed that about 10:45 p.m. Escobar was on Nurse Findley Crescent when he was approached by an unknown person who fired several shots in his direction, causing his fatal injuries.
Ricardo Escobar was transported to the KHMH, where he was pronounced dead.
